First king of the Tuatha,
He of the Silver Hand,
Once and future king,
Lord of horses,
Carrier of the Fal,
Possessor of the Hill of Allmhainn,
Patron of the Fianna.
Fairest of form,
Clean, pure, white,
Large breasted flaxen mane,
Strength of fifty.
Giver of many a good judgement,
He who deals justly,
He, of the fork of white hazel,
Resplendent of valour,
Brilliance of honour.
Pious to brethren,
He, who supresses for infidelity,
And enlarges for piety.
Benefit of the people,
He, who esteems the welfare of others,
Before pride of self,
He, who rises for fourteen days,
Provisioner of every child.
Child of the waters,
Guardian of the Well of Seagais,
Ruler of the fiery waters,
Master of the cup bearers,
Contender of Sreng,
Arm of Modhan,
Fierce man, Great magician,
He who turned Airmger,
Defender of Midhir,
Deliverer of peace,
Strong before hosts,
Giver of nine wounds,
Wielder of the Cliamh Soluis (Sword of Light),
From whom no one escapes.
